Another week has started in the 5AM Club 66 Days Challenge. Now I am closer to the end than to the beginning. This week I will reach a new milestone, and that is I will be completing the second third part of the 66 days. Day 44 is going to be the day where the “messy” part is going to be over, and the awesome part will start.
If you want to read through my 5AM 66 Days journey, you can do so by clicking on the following links dedicated for each of the first 6 weeks. A short summary of week 6 follows though.
Summary of week 6
Days 43-49
This week has been quite busy, and I did not write everyday in my journal. We have started to go back into the office, so that meant I had to find the best way of combining the old 8 to 4 job style with my new waking up at 5AM aspirations. As a result, I skipped the part where I would sit down in front of my laptop and write down my thoughts. I did however, do the moving part, and the reflecting part in the same time – I listened to motivational speakers, or meditations while training. I continued reading from my book.
I also made two applications for different job positions: one for the financial analyst job that I have been talking in the past weeks, and another one for a process engineer position (more related to my field of work at the moment). I remember saying that my financial analyst application will be world class and that I was positive that I will be called in for an interview. The ugly truth is that I did not make a world class application – but I am proud of my cover letter and my CV. My plan was to make a video CV as well, but unfortunately, after looking on YouTube at several video CVs, I decided that it would require a lot of my time to make something awesome. If you have the time, you could check this one out, it is pretty awesome: funny video CV.
I went from being super positive about a reply and a call for an interview to being optimistic and hopeful that they would come back with an interview invitation soon.
I sold my other blog that I had for sale for the price I was aiming for. I haven’t decided yet on which of the other blogs I have left I will focus for the next year. This is still something I need to decide.
